ByteDance has reportedly released the official TikTok app for the Android TV platform via the Google Play Store.
It is reported that this app is very similar to the average TikTok app and was initially released to Samsung TV users in the UK.
Plays vertically as in the TikTok app, with a scrollable main feed and video viewing and profiling capabilities, and sign-in with the TikTok service is not required to use it.
The app is still available to people in several countries, but Android TV users in many countries have not yet been able to download it.
In this way, users who have not yet been able to get this through the Google Play Store can get the APK through a website like APK Mirror and install it on the TV.
