Samsung’s ISOCELL HP1 sensor’s pixel bin technology, known as “ChameleonCell”, is a 2 by 2 pixel bin system for the HP1 sensor that allows 8K videos to be captured.

The standard 8K (7,680 x 4,320) views are less than 50 megapixels, but Samsung claims that it can capture 8K videos without cropping through this sensor.

The FDTI (Front Deep Trench Isolation) technology used by Samsung for the ISOCELL GN5 sensor creates a semi-insulator in every pixel, and Samsung claims that the autofocusing feature and the quality of the images obtained are very high.

Covering all areas of the first sensor, it is instantly autofocused by a million multi-directional photodiodes that can detect very clear images in bright and low light.
