Is OnePlus Cheating? You may remember that Apple had to pay millions of dollars for CPU throttling of the iPhone to save battery power.

OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are now experiencing a similar event, with popular apps deliberately slowing down to conserve battery power.

It is reported that access to relevant apps such as Chrome and Twitter will block access to the performance cores on the CPU contained in the OnePlus 9 and 9 Plus mobile phones.

The blocked apps include Google apps, Microsoft Office apps, social media apps and Web browsers, according to Anandtech.

Meanwhile, they have taken steps to remove the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Plus from the rankings on the GeekBench website, calling it benchmark manipulation.

OnePlus has officially announced that the One&Plus R&D team has been working on this process for the past few months to improve the user experience, according to its users. We also state that it is to provide a better quality experience.
