Black Screen in Windows 11 Instead of Blue Screen : Microsoft has introduced a black background to replace the existing BSOD or blue background for the newly introduced Windows 11 operating system.
Microsoft introduced BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) or Blue Death Screen (BSOD) in Windows 8 operating system in 2012. Later, in 2016, a QR code was added as an add-on to that BSOD. Similarly, Microsoft introduced a blue Death Screen for Windows 10. This made it easier for computer technicians and users to identify computer hardware and memory errors.
