You may recall that we previously informed you that Apple is also experimenting with their own foldable device, as previously revealed by unofficial sources.
However, Apple is still waiting to join the folding device competition, and according to the latest reports, it has been postponed until 2023.
Kuo Ming Chi, a trusted Apple News analyst, has revealed that Apple is set to launch an 8-inch foldable device with a 20-inch screen in 2023.
It is believed that Samsung will supply this 8-inch screen as usual, which will support QHD + resolution.
However, Kuo Ming Chi has further pointed out that for Touch sensitivity technology, Apple will use the more advantageous Silver nanowire technology developed by TPK instead of using Y-Octa technology, which is Samsung’s proprietary technology.
Apple is also reportedly moving towards a sales target of 15-20 million units on its folding device.
