When Apple removed the 3.5mm headphone jack from their iPhone a few years ago, many Android phone makers made fun of it, but eventually the process was seen to work on their phones as well.
The same thing happened when Apple announced that it would not provide a charger with the new iPhone when it was purchased, but now other Android phone makers are gradually moving to follow suit.
Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has announced that Xiaomi has decided not to offer such a charger with the Xiaomi Mi 11, which is set to be released on December 28th.
Most customers will not like this, but he added that the decision was made to minimize environmental issues, adding that the matter could be discussed further on the 28th.
