Apple recruited developers in 2019 to create new apps for Windows, and as a result, launched the Apple TV app for Microsoft Xbox.

Apple is also reportedly adding Apple Music and Apple Podcasts services to its Microsoft Store.

The 9to5mac website reports that Windows apps for Apple Music and Podcasts are currently being tested through a private beta program, but say they have no idea if these apps will be available for Windows PCs.

You all know, Apple was working to discontinue iTunes with the macOS Catalina version release in 2019. Although iTunes is still available for Windows, they have not added or updated any new features.

Thus, many people are speculating that Apple Music and Podcast apps will be available for Windows PC as well.

Meanwhile, the Spotify app for Windows 10 is already among the top free apps in the Microsoft Store, and they have managed to provide a perfect quality experience.

Suppose Apple releases Apple Music and Podcast apps for Windows PC. In that case, it will be a competitor to the currently monopolized Spotify app. It will be another new option for music for Windows 10 users, especially those already using Apple Music.
