Microsoft has made a big change to its Windows 10 taskbar by introducing several widgets that allow you to easily view the weather and the latest news from within that taskbar.
This feature is already provided to Microsoft Windows 10 operating system insiders, where you can easily view the weather, news, etc. from the taskbar without having to open the Start menu or use another application.
A small window opens in the taskbar and displays these details on a feed, constantly updating its latest news as well as weather information.
The Microsoft News service is used to provide news, and it displays news and articles from over 4,500 sources.
Microsoft has used AI (AI) in this feature to ensure that more news and articles related to topics that the user prefers are displayed, and that news and articles are not re-displayed in a way that users may overlook.
Users affiliated with the Windows Insiders Program have now released the relevant update (Windows 10 build 21286), and if they wish to try it out on a virtual machine, ISO images have also been released so they can be used.
This feature will be available to all users by the end of this year and is officially available to users in the US, Canada, Australia and India only.
You need to have the latest version of this new browser installed on your Windows 10 operating system to use this feature. This is because clicking on a news item from the latest feed you mentioned above will open it in the Edge browser and display it in the Reading View, which is easy to read.
This is an ad-free feature and can be disabled if you do not use it. The People bar, which was introduced to the Taskbar earlier, was also a very useful feature for the users.
In this People Bar you can easily use the contacts you have, but this is only supported with apps like Mail and Skype.
