AOSP is a repository that releases the source code of the Android operating system for free. This is where device manufacturers who are not directly affiliated with Google get the Android operating system for their devices.
For the past several years, Google has been releasing a stable version of the Android operating system to the general public on the same day that it is released to AOSP.
However, despite announcing the official release of the stable version this time around, it is yet to be actually released, and for the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel phones to be released in the next few weeks, the Samsung Galaxy will be available before the end of this year. They point out that the Android 12 update will also be available for OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Tecno, Vivo, and Xiaomi devices.
Google added that more than 225,000 beta users took part in testing the Android 12 beta version, which has identified and resolved more than 50,000 issues.
